Gowri Shankar Sivabala is an academician, international speaker and entrepreneur. With a passion for fostering entrepreneurship, he serves as a mentor and global jury across leading national and international platforms, supporting the development of over a dozen startups. Specializing in UAV Design, Computer-Aided Design, Engineering, AI, Sustainability and Manufacturing, he has an international clientele spanning countries such as India, UAE, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Sri Lanka, Maldives, etc. He also has academic and engineering ventures spread across India, UAE and Sri Lanka and has spoken at various entrepreneurial events globally, inspiring audiences with his insights.

Mentorship and Academic Engagement
Gowri Shankar’s commitment to education and mentorship is evident through his role as an orator and keynote speaker at international events and panel discussions, focusing on Education, Entrepreneurship, CAD, UAV, Artificial Intelligence, and Sustainability. He actively mentors students and professionals at the University of Bristol, KCG College of Technology, CCL Academy, Wadhwani Foundation, StartupTN, We Ace, UKSEDS, etc. He was also involved in UNESCO/UNICEF projects.

Academic Excellence and Recognition
Gowri Shankar holds a Masters degree in Aerospace from the prestigious Russell/Coimbra group University of Bristol, UK. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Anna University and has been honored with the Distinguished Alumni Award/Global Impact Award (2024), Alumni Finalist, and Special Alumni Community Award from KCG College of Technology, British Council, and UoB, respectively. He is currently pursuing his Doctoral Research in the field of Education. He is also a member of organisations such as Smart Cities Council, Startup Grind and UKSEDS.

With a diverse career spanning 31 different professional roles, Gowri Shankar has made significant contributions in Engineering, Education, Entrepreneurship, IT, Management, Art, Products, Services, and Community work. He has collaborated on projects for prestigious firms like Rolls Royce and Airbus, demonstrating his expertise in Aerospace R&D, and sustainability initiatives. Beyond his professional endeavors, he is an accomplished writer, social worker, poet, and blogger, garnering various awards in photography and pioneering initiatives such as food vlogging and virtual reality airsports in India.

He has been active in community work from a very early age focussing especially on education accessibility, sustainability and health.
